Derrick Building Maintenance
IRM is able to undertake the erection and installations of Derrick, onboard the host vessel; including all ancillary items such as pipework, sheaves, lights, ladders, cable trays, Derrick bolts, beam material supply, replacement electrical services, windwalls, Walkways etc.
Derrick construction is undertaken, by an experienced team of Derrick builders and rope access technicians, to improve the safety culture within this area.
A complete fit out and commissioning service is provided to the highest industry standards.
An in-house design & build capability is provided for windwalls and Derrick encapsulation.
Rope Access
Over the past 15 years an increasing amount of work, both offshore and onshore, is being achieved using rope access techniques, thus eliminating the need for costly and time consuming scaffold erections. IRM realized the value of using abseiling techniques in areas of limited access and provide a full range of services. All our technicians have undergone an approved course, to an internationally recognized standard, by IRATA, the Industrial Rope Access Trade Association.
